On average we process 86,000kg every month, diverting textiles, electronics and unwanted household items from landfill. Our textiles are sorted, graded and processed and sold around the UK as well as being exported around the world to destinations in Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe.
Commitment to the environment
At Recycling Solutions we believe that businesses should take responsibility for good environmental practices and operate in a sustainable manner.
We are strongly committed to reducing our environmental impact and continually improving our performance is an integral and fundamental part of our business practice and operations.
We are committed to continuously improving managing environmental issues, monitoring and reducing waste, reducing pollution and emissions as well as training staff and monitoring our own environmental performance.
It is a priority to encourage our customers, suppliers and business associates to do the same. Not only is it sound commercial sense for all but it is a matter of delivering on our duty of care towards future generations.
We collect from a variety of locations in England including hundreds of textile banks, charity shops and operate a door-to-door collection service. Working closely with local and national charities, local authorities and private organisations we offer a quick and efficient service and can arrange collections at short notice.
We pride ourselves on our level of service and welcome you to come and visit our premises to see how items are processed and recycled. We are happy to provide references from any of our charity partners that we currently work with.
We can provide your charity with your own branded textile recycling banks at no cost. We can arrange a location at a public recycling point and service the banks on your behalf. This is a very cost effective way for your charity to increase your revenues with very little time or effort required from your staff.
We can provide your charity shops with regular collections on a weekly or daily basis and can recycle your unwanted textiles and bric-a-brac.
